The bubble chair is probably one of the most important and famous creations of the 1960s.  This chair is based on the original design of the ball chair created by Finnish designer, Eero Aarnio.  He has the one that is credited with using acrylic some plastics to create unique furniture.  Even though he believes in a simplistic design, he is been able to blend the materials with interesting and modern concepts.  The acrylic bubble chair is a round and transparent.
  
 The concept behind the chair is to be able to create its own unique space, a great place to get away from it all.  Due to the overall design, sounds and disturbances from your surroundings are filtered and minimized.  This is a perfect setting to be able to enjoy your favorite book, catch up on talking with some friends or simply relaxing.  The room in which this chair is placed, could be full of people, but once you sit in the chair, all of that is long forgotten.  The designer created the acrylic bubble chair not only to be functional but also to provide some fun.
  
 The bubble chair attaches to the ceiling with a chain.  It uses hooks to attach to the outer ring made from chrome or stainless steel.  The cushions inside can be covered in soft leather or a variety of other materials.  You can choose from many different colors to create the look you are searching for.  The design is perhaps one of the most well known in modern furniture.  You can see it in many commercials and on TV shows and movies.  Most recently it was highlighted on the popular show, Extreme Home Makeover.  You can find this style of chair at many modern furniture stores and you may want to watch out for anyone that might be having a bubble chair sale.
