Retro Bubble Chair

The retro bubble chair is one of the most famous designs from the 1960s.  It was developed and created by Eero Aarnio , who is from Finland.  He is well known for how he created furniture utilizing plastics, fiberglass, and acrylics.  This design is based on his original creation, the ball chair.  He took a round design and created a chair to give interest and make it comfortable for a person to use.  He felt that the original designed needed somehow allow light.  This is how he began to experiment with transparent acrylic and created this now famous style.
  
 The retro bubble chair is constructed with a transparent acrylic.  The round sphere enables a person to sit in it and even curl up to enjoy a good book.  It is the perfect place to relax and get away from it all.  The chair is suspended from the ceiling by using chains that attach to the outer metal rim.  There is even an option to be able to purchase a swivel hook, so it can turn 360°.  The interior cushions are constructed from a soft thick foam and cover with a variety of fabrics.  You can even have the cushions upholstered in fine Italian leather.  There are many different colors that you can select from to enhance your chair.  For a stunning look, you may want a black bubble chair where the contrast between the clear acrylic and the black cushion will give you a stunning and modern effect.
